Our journey, your support
Discover the heart behind Memory Lane Guides. Learn about our inspiration, our mission to support caregivers, and the community we're building together.

Our inspiration: a personal journey
Memory Lane Guides was created from a very personal place. My Pa's diagnosis with vascular dementia deeply impacted my family and I, revealing the immense challenges that come with caring for someone with dementia. This experience sparked a desire to create a supportive space for others on a similar journey.

Our mission: supporting you
What's truly important to Memory Lane Guides is making caregivers and families feel supported, understood, and less alone. We aim to provide helpful information, coping strategies, and a safe, welcoming community where you can share your experiences without judgment. We want you to feel comforted, reassured, and connected.

Who we help: family caregivers
Memory Lane Guides is primarily for family members and caregivers supporting someone living with dementia. While professional carers may find our information valuable, our focus is on families who navigate the daily emotional and mental challenges of caregiving. This focus stems from my personal experience, understanding how overwhelming and stressful this role can be, and how vital support and guidance are.
